COVID-19 Pandemic Update

• All mandates for funeral homes settings have been lifted
• Masks are optional. We do not require them for attendance on our funeral home(s) premises. Churches or other venues may have varying requirements.
• Capacity limits are removed for funerals in the funeral home. Limits may apply to churches or other venues.
• Families may, in consultation with the funeral home, limit attendees for visitations or funerals.
• Pre-scheduling and logging of visitors will no longer be required unless the family wishes to do so.
• Food and beverage services may resume, but some limits may apply depending on the venue and circumstances.

Proof of vaccination requirements do not apply to:

• Funeral services including rites, ceremonies, visitations, receptions, or social gatherings held in places of worship. 
   
• Funeral services including rites, ceremonies, visitations, receptions, or social gatherings held in funeral establishments, cemeteries, crematoriums, and similar establishments that provide bereavement services and are licensed to operate under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002. 
  

Proof of vaccination requirements may continue to apply to social gatherings or receptions associated with a funeral service, rite, or ceremony in a meeting or event space, conference centre, or convention centre or by family request.

We continue to monitor this situation and are in regular contact with local and provincial health officials. As always, we remain committed to serving our communities. We are grateful for your patience and understanding during these challenging times. 

 Falconer Funeral Homes remains available to serve our families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the restrictions and out of concern for the public health, we will be observing the provincial directives with regard to service attendance at the funeral home, off premise location or the cemetery.
