Christopher Smith, owner of Falconer Funeral Homes, began his career here as a student in 1987 before attending Humber College in Toronto. He apprenticed at Turner & Porter Funeral Directors Ltd. in Toronto. Chris graduated in 1990 and returned to Falconer Funeral Homes as a funeral director. He purchased the funeral homes from Michael Falconer in 2012. Chris is proud to serve our communities with the care each family deserves.
Mark Rushton
Funeral Director
and Certified Funeral Celebrant
Mark Rushton earned his funeral director's license in 1981. During his career he has served various southwestern Ontario communities. In a desire to expand his commitment to serving families, Mark has become a Certified Funeral Celebrant. Mark enjoys photography, music and current events. He and his wife Marilyn, who also works at the funeral home, have lived in Goderich since joining Falconer Funeral Homes in 2006.
